Mackerel & Wine

"Mackerel & Wine" was a 100-day drawing challenge — one drawing a day, no exceptions, no quality bar. The goal was pure output: a way to bulldoze perfectionism and compress years of slow improvement into a few months of terrible drawings, occasional lucky ones, and everything in between.

Showing up daily, even for something as low-stakes as a quick sketch, demands more discipline than it sounds. Twenty minutes is nothing, until you have to find them every single day. But the payoff is progress that's visible in real time.
